Time for reflection.

It has been one week back in Melbourne and its a cold Friday night, at last, the longer post I promised like 2000 years ago.

Going back to Sitiawan was great. Although I have only left for half a year, I felt like much has changed, but yet, it still seems familiar enough to blend in. One great thing was coming back during the Korean ministry night, almost EVERYONE was there.

What did I do?

Its funny that out of all the things to do there is to miss, I probably missed basketball the most, in church court that is where the hoop is bigger, court is slightly smaller. Didn’t take long to regain my 3 point shots, like they say, “form is temporary, class is permanent!” haha.. kidding kidding…

One of the best games was when it was Mark, Alston, Chia Ching, Winnie, and me in one team. Totally rocked the court that day remember!? Although we lost the first game, we won every one after that! Alston has changed his game so much, from lightweight shooter in high school to a rampaging stamina freak.

Even Mark was like, “wah, never see him score so many before…” haha.. Too bad bird bird wasn’t back yet that time. Not that he can play better than Winnie. haha! kidding kidding.

So yeah, other than basketball, I ate all I wanted to eat, checked out the new cinema, went out to kl and ipoh for shopping, spent time with family. I should really cut the blabber right now, time for pictures!

Taken at some hawker in B. Bintang. It was around 12 a.m. and we were eating bak kut teh! Not only that….

We still had the stomach for coffee at Starbucks at like 2 in the morning. They were pretty high that time, other than Alan it seems. sakai… We didn’t take many pictures that night, lacking that extra X chromosome that enables humans to camwhore like 200 pictures in one sitting.

Back in Sitiawan

I’m completely jumping from one weekend to another. haha! steamboat the week after hanging around in KL where I actually bumped into Celeste at the Pyramid and Sherroy who saw me from afar at the Pavillion. Anyway, Yvonne, CC, Winnie, Mark, Alston. STEAMBOAT!! Malaysian style. Beats Melbourne any day.

Awesome stuff…… Look at the sweat dripping from Alston’s hair, extra flavor in the soup!! And yeah, people sitting opposite me tend to be in most of the pictures. We went for Hancock after that where Alvin Chan joined us!

Wen Jing and CC!! I like this picture. Remember the days in form 1 where Loh got himself a slap on the face from her? How long ago was that!?

Think this was a day after steamboat when Yiwen arrived back in S’wan. Chicken rice beside PKM! It was not bad la, I ordered like extra meat so it got up to RM 5.00 + which is actually quite expensive but dirt cheap in Aus. Serving not comparable though. People seem to think they’re serving bulls here in OZ.

During the game, he runs around like a freak but injures himself while walking around after MYF or something. haha! Fookie seems to have cheered up after we broke his skipping rope. He left the rope with words of caution, “don’t break it ah..” CC said his reaction was super funny when he knew we did exactly that.

That night, we had makan at my place! Turned out to be a super early suprise birthday party, thanks mom and dad!!

Wen Jing + Juliet. They were totally molesting my sisters dog that night. haha! Wen Jing and Wen Ning, the 2 bitch loving sisters. lol!

Dad helping himself to the food while bro tries to do something cute? We had indian food that night since most of us were indian food lovers.

1. Hanging out with the guys ( ian, wei jian, jacob, ang……) playing pool at jook joint.

2. Watching Spain vs Germany after that. Torres rocks!

3. Nasi lemak at 2 a.m. after hanging at rockafellas.

4. Games night at Aoife’s place!

6. Heineken with Jeff after durian. Not smart, super heaty!!

7. Talking to Sammy outside his house with Mark.

Second semester is going to fly by super quickly, its only a 14 week semester so very soon, I’ll be back! But probably planning to check out Sydney during summer maybe? hehe.. WIll try to make it back for the combined camp, YLDP too maybe. August 7th, MBBS Interview. Pray for me!!
