Genting Outdoor Theme Park!!

We just love holidaying. And since we’re so bored of Pangkor and Damai Laut, we got a little bit more adventurous this time thanks to Yuki and gang, 12 of us I think went to Genting and KL for a last holiday together. We gathered at Yuki’s house at 6 in the morning.

The van we rented down to Genting was superb. Spacious, comfortable and like Alan and Chia Ching said, just the right temperature too. When I arrived in Yuki’s I somehow knew that I would have to sit in front with the driver. True enough…  Since I was sooo tired because I didn’t sleep the previous night, I slept most of the way only to be awakened once in a while by Yvonne’s screaming. No better way to wake up. Should record her voice and use it as my alarm. ahhaa.

Sun rose on the way.

Journey down to Genting was a breeze. After dumping our stuff at the lobby, we went straight into the theme park. Honestly there are only 3 rides worth taking in the theme park. Space shot, corkscrew and flying coaster. I took 2 out of the 3 because flying coaster charges 10 bucks extra. Cheapskate me.

There was a school band there performing.

When I saw this bugger from afar, I had no second thoughts that I would have to experience this before leaving. Who knows when will I get to go to Genting again. And by that time, my heart may not be able to sustain it. That was when I saw it from afar. But when I went nearer and went up the ferris wheel beside it, I thought I should pass… No, I wasn’t scared, look at the Q!

Bloody many people want to be lifted high in the air and dropped down. After all the contemplation and the corkscrew which lifted my adrenaline levels a little, Chee junior, Alan, Winnie and myself queued up for this. No regrets. If it was not for all the people there, I would most probably go for it again.. and again. No kidding. The sudden drop when you’re admiring scenery from so high up is like the best thing ever.

Humans are so stupid. We get thrilled by putting our lives in machines that throw us around. If I was a roller coaster I would probably think that humans are a bunch of crazy baffoons. I thought the best time in Genting was in the theme park and playing electric shock in the cold.

Sorry lar Winnie, I can’t do a super long post and recap the whole entire trip. Just talking about the theme park is tiring me out, and I don’t really have pictures from the night and KL, so yeah, Yvonne and Tuan Tynn, pictures please….

All in all it was a good outing. Our last maybe. Even though sometimes things didn’t turn out so right, I’m glad I will remember this trip for the good things that happened. Thanks guys.
